UK Recovery Walk Charity, Launch and Celebration Event.

Hello all, hope you are enjoying the nice, (but hot!), weather and having a great summer.

 

We would just like to first of all, thank everyone who has listened to our 2nd Purple Bull Podcast so far.

We would like to let everyone know that, the UK Recovery Walk Charity, will be throwing a big party, celebration event in Liverpool on Saturday the 20th of July 2013, for the announcement of the new host city, for the 2014 Recovery walk. Liverpool's Lord Mayor, will be welcoming people from around the UK, while guest speakers Matt Southwell and Simon Jenkins, will be providing some 'words of wisdom'.

 

The event will be headlined by Simon Mason, who will be performing a solo set of songs, as well as launching his critically acclaimed book 'Too High, Too Far, Too Soon'.

This great event will be something to enjoy and you can bet UKRR Members, 3 of us to be exact, will be there to take in the atmosphere, the information, and also to cover the event itself.
 

We at UKRR, will be looking forward to speaking to and interviewing, anyone who wants to promote or spread the word about any Recovery Community projects or organisations that they believe in, so don't be a stranger! Be sure to come over and say hello!
