Park House-Phoenix Futures Graduation event and celebration

Hello again Friends,  We Hope you have got to listen to the 2nd UKRR pod cast and voted on the like`o`meter.

UKRR members were out and about again, at the Park House Graduation Celebration.

Park House is a detox facility based in Handsworth, Birmingham, and they house people who want to become abstinent from drugs. Some of their residents were welcomed and had nothing but socks on the feet and not much else to be honest. The work Park House does is great and Respect to them for continuing to deliver a great standard of service, to all service users who come their way.
Park house awards ceremony, was a Graduation event for Residents that have completed the park house course. Humphrey, a supporter and participant in UKRR, got an award and photos were taken. Well Done to You Humphrey.

Stacey and the UKRW2013 Team were there doing their PR thing. I bought myself a hoodie in support of the Walk and will be donning that on the day.

Park house residents were also participating, by taking interested parties, on a tour of where they live, and gave us an insight into the work that Park house does here, to help the vulnerable out of Addiction and into a safe and understanding and caring environment.. We saw a few familiar faces and had a bit of fun.

UKRR Members also managed to get some interviews for our next pod-cast; all in all it was a really good day food was great and also there were Fruit Smoothies, while tea and coffee flowed constantly.

Well done to all the graduates and Thank you Park House for the wonderful atmosphere that you created for us all.

Jaine xx
