Everyone
is welcome to get involved in this opportunity to inspire, promote and
celebrate recovery and there will be some training in the skills needed to
produce broadcastable features, interviews, news items, stories, etc,
etc.
We have obtained a small pot of money (from Birmingham & Solihull MH Foundation Trust's Board Challenge Awards) to purchase some equipment in order to produce twelve podcasts over the next twelve months.
People in recovery are needed to
take the lead in producing features and coordinating contributions; as well as
to ultimately take over the running of the project in six months
time.
Staff
from organisations are also welcome to get involvedand this could be an
opportunity to run a small group with service users at your centre that produces
material for the podcast. This project will also be a vehicle for promoting the 2013 UK Recovery Walk in Birmingham, as well as promoting other events, activities and opportunities throughout the year.
BRILLIANT!!!!!
