We have been creating various accounts to start to create an internet presence and as you would expect the name 'Recovery Radio' is not always available; on Twitter we went for @Recovery RadioWM, while we were thinking bigger when we registered on this blog site to create our own webpage as 'UK Recovery Radio'. As there doesn't appear to be anybody else out there doing this, it would be worth aiming for a national audience and adopting the 'UK' bit instead of 'WM' which can easily be used later when we are developing material targeted at different localities. It could also be advantageous when developing funding bids next year.
So spread the word and start to let your creative juices flow, we need feature ideas, people to interview, ideas for jingles, poems, stories and original songs. Get in touch if you would like to get involved in the worksops in January. Until then seasons greetings and enjoy this film from the 4th UK Recovery Walk in Brighton in September.
