"Step Up To The Plate" First Episode





Saturday the 23rd of March saw the launch of a new thought provoking and sometimes hard hitting audio discussion series in aid of UKKR’s objective of Inspiring, Celebrating and Promoting Recovery from addictions called "Step Up To The Plate".

A panel made up of fellowship members and 'curious outsiders' chaired by UKRR volunteer reporters,  shared their insights, thoughts and opinions on their personal journeys of recovery, and discussed questions on:

  • The origins of the 12-step fellowship
  • The 12-steps
  • Experience of 12-step meetings
The discussion was very intriguing, exciting and a great success; making for huge anticipation for forthcoming discussion episodes.
