UKRR update for Saturday 02.02.2013 - Recovery is fun

Hey peeps,

what a great positive meeting we’ve just had.  Today’s focus was on jingles and ident’s, we had a laugh whilst learning, which is the best style of learning I think – the jingles etc were funny.  The podcast and its content are really coming on – we had great ideas for features and research projects.  An absolute buzzing vibe and we left feeling positive.  BIG UP UKRR and all those involved as this is a worthwhile project whilst we are preparing to inspire, promote and celebrate recovery we’re making new friends along the way and learning new skills but most importantly we are having a great time – you can’t beat a natural high.

RECOVERY:

Release from a vicious cycle of a destructive life...

Eventually getting better to live a happy life...

Circles of “real” friends...

Obvious change in ones personality...

Vibes that are positive from our fellow friends in recovery...

Expecting more from yourself – believing in yourself...

Regaining confidence in yourself and others...

Yellow being the colour of a sunny day that we actually notice now – living in the light instead of the dark...
